Birthday message
On the 29th of January I turned 30 (I know… I'm very mature for my age). I started taking tennis more serious as a junior when I moved to Woodthorpe aged 11, now it feels that I am starting a new chapter as Head Coach of the Club. I have done everything possible at the club, played for the junior teams, adult teams and for the last few years captained junior teams and the Men’s 1st team. However, I can honestly say I am most excited for the new changes to come.
New squads
There will be new squads starting on a Tuesday and Wednesday evenings run by me, with sessions aimed for ‘Team Players’ who are looking to compete for the club in team leagues. Within this there will be a session aimed at the teenagers who are interested in playing in the club doubles teams and focused around taking the next step towards adult tennis.
30-days Free additional squads
This tennis club and all the players & parents has been so supportive of me through the years and as a small token of my appreciation to mark my 30th birthday. I am offering all players and parents an upgrade to Gold membership and for 30-days. You can join as many coaching lessons as you want for no extra cost!
To make sure that we don’t get over ran by players and the squads become too busy we will be using a booking system and waiting list over What’s App groups, if a player is unable to join a different session they will be on the top of the list the following week.
